Role: Event Coordinator
What is an Event Volunteer?
Event Volunteers help to deliver a variety of different events for The P3 Network from planning and preparation to setting up and running activities on the day. It’s about offering something fun and memorable for visitors and encouraging them to return and tell their friends about us.

Helping to prepare for the event – this might involve preparing information and signage, setting up displays and activities, moving tables and chairs, and so on
Providing a warm, friendly welcome to all members and guests as the public face of The P3 Network, answering any questions and encouraging people to get involved in the events/activities
Assisting at large scale events such as The P3 Kids Run – this might involve directing visitors, providing information, running stalls, assisting with activities, checking in registered attendees and other onsite requirements.
Setting up registration websites and submitting reports of to corporate partners
Helping to clear up after the event
Becoming familiar with and then following The P3 Network policies at all times
Minimum of one years’ experience event planning
Experience working in deadline-driven environments
Able to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Passionate about exceeding customer expectations
Enthusiastic, positive and motivated to continually develop services levels
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high standard of both verbal and written English
Smart, presentable and courteous with a welcoming personality
Organised, able to multitask and show initiative with an eye for detail
